Hi! I’m Missi. I’m married to Andy. We have been trying to get pregnant since 2008 with no success. We have done medical treatments and got as far as the first home study interview in the adoption process and then life happened and kids was put on the backburner since 2013.

After my brother died in 2015 I began reevaluating everything in my life. Why do I do this? Why don’t I do that?  I am doing my best to live intentionally instead of on auto-pilot. Being alive is a great gift. I don’t want to take it for granted.

I write because it helps me process things and serves as mile markers on where I’ve been, what I’m learning, and where I’m going.

I share about family, travel, infertility, and grief as it shows up in my day to day life. I do my best to follow Jesus, so some of that is sprinkled into my writing too.
